Come celebrate the Rip Van Winkle Award winner Claribel A. Ortega! Ms. Ortega wrote the winner of the 2023 Pura Belpre Award for Children's Literature, Frizzy. as well as Witchlings, Ghost Squad, Witchlings: The Golden Frog Games, and selections in This is Our Rainbow, Reclaim the Stars, Our Shadows Have Claws, and Marvel Voices.
The Rip Van Winkle Award dinner will be held at Woods Tavern Bar and Grill at 400 Croton Dam Rd., Ossining, NY 10562 on June 7 from 4:30 - 7:30 pm.
Tickets are $35 for SLMSSENY members and $70 for non-members.
